The final lineup for the first annual TALOA Music Festival​ was announced earlier this month. The first year festival boasts an impressive, eclectic lineup featuring Leon Russell​, The New Deal​ (x2), Papadosio​, The Leftover McCourys Jam featuring Leftover Salmon​ & The Travelin’ McCourys​, Jeff Austin​ Band, Marco Benevento​, The Werks​ (x2), Zoogma​, ill.Gates​, TAUK​, Earphunk​, Desert Dwellers​, Drew Emmitt​ Band, Random Rab​, Eliot Lipp​, Kalya Scintilla​, Kaminanda​, Vibe Street​, Late Night Radio​, EarthCry​, Krooked Drivers​, and many more. The festival has also promised a series of super jams featuring musicians culled from the lineup. TALOA will be held on September 25th – 27th in historic downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma. [LINEUP] Great North : Music & Arts Festival Announces Initial 2015 Lineup

Great North: Music and Arts Festival​ has released their initial lineup for 2015. The festival will feature Lettuce​, Papadosio​ (2 nights), The New Deal​ (2 nights), Mix Master Mike Official​, Twiddle​ (2 nights), G Jones​, TAUK​ (2 nights), Freddy Todd​ Live Band, G-Nome Project​ (3 nights), CloZee​ (2 nights), Space Jesus​, and many more. Great North will also feature an impressive lineup of visual artists including Chris Dyer​, The Welch Brothers​, Adam Psybe, Jonathan Solter​, and many more. The festival is set to take place over Labor Day weekend (September 4th – 6th) at Last Breath Farm in Norridgewock, Maine. There will also be a pre-party on Thursday, September 3rd featuring intimate sets from Papadosio, G-Nome Project, and CloZee available to VIP ticket holders and early entry ticket holders. The New Deal has released a new single to celebrate the start of their Spring Tour. “Mercury Switch” is a spacey, futuristic sounding track with groovy bass lines and catchy, extraterrestrial synths. The New Deal kicked off their Spring Tour last night in Baltimore and will play tonight in Pittsburgh and on Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia with Lotus. To celebrate their show together Lotus created a remix of “Mercury Switch” adding additional synths and guitar to give the track their distinctive flavor. Both the original and the remix are available as free downloads. The New Deal will continue their Spring Tour in May with dates in Toronto and New York as well as a highly anticipated return to Summer Camp Music Festival. [TOUR DATES] The New Deal Announce A Handful of Spring Tour Dates

The New Deal has added a handful of tour dates to their Spring schedule. Next weekend, the band will perform a three night run in Colorado with performances in Aspen, Boulder and Denver. In April, the livetronica pioneers will perform at Euphoria Music Festival in Austin, Texas. On April 16th – 18th they will perform another three night run, this time on the East Coast. They will perform in Baltimore with Rob Garza, Pittsburgh, and they will open for Lotus in Charlottesville. The New Deal will return to Summer Camp Music Festival for the first time since 2003 this Memorial Day weekend. Their tour schedule rounds out with two nights of shows at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, New York. Pre-sale tickets for the tour are on sale now. The New Deal Announce Winter Tour + New Track :: Stream

The New Deal has revealed a short winter tour hitting the western US in January and February. Since their return to the stage this summer, The New Deal have quickly resumed their acclaimed sound. This tour will feature two 3 night runs, the first in California in January and the second leg in Colorado in February. Along with the release of the tour dates, the band has also put out their first new music since their return. “Sabotage The System” is a high energy, electronic rock track that shows that The New Deal is back in full force.

The New Deal has put the second set from their North Coast Music Festival afterparty at Concord Music Hall up on their SoundCloud. The New Deal has made a triumphant return back to the stage this summer. Suwannee Hulaween Announces Artist Additions + Thursday Pre-Party + Theme

 

Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions have added new artists to the lineup for the second annual Suwannee Hulaween. Artist additions include; Shpongle (Simon Posford), Emancipator, The Dean Ween Group, Suwannee Bluegrass Surprise, Rob Garza DJ set, Kung Fu, and more. For the first time Thursday will act as a pre-party featuring The Disco Biscuits’ side project Electron, Particle, and a yet to be announced “Thursday Surprise”.

Hulaween is held at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. The festival is hosted by The String Cheese Incident over Halloween weekend. Previously announced artists include; Big Gigantic, Thievery Corporation, Beats Antique, The New Deal, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass, EOTO, Conspirator (Official), Future Rock, and more. The String Cheese Incident will perform seven sets over three nights including a very special three set performance on Halloween. One of the sets will incorporate this year’s theme “Afterlife”. The festival urges attendees to “tap into mythology, philosophy, religion and the supernatural to transcend into the next physical realm. Who do YOU want to be in the next life?”
