Eliot Lipp has released a new album today on Pretty Lights Music. Watch The Shadows is the culmination of over two years of work and contains a variety of styles. Positive Vibe Tribe captured an array of footage at the Pretty Lights Music Keepin’ It Crew Tour stop in Bloomington, Indiana at Kilroy’s Dunnkirk. The approach that Michal Menert, Eliot Lipp, SuperVision, and Paul Basic took for this tour is incredibly unique. At times during the show, all four artists are on stage at once each contributing a component of the song. The group essentially functions as a band with Paul Basic on electric drums, SuperVision on turntable, Michal Menert on APC and MPC, and Eliot Lipp on synths. With a 3 hour set length, having all four on stage all the time could get overwhelming so instead they filter on and off stage, sometimes performing solo sections, other times performing in duos or trios. The four artists have been producing new tracks together for this tour and many of them are featured in these videos. Hopefully, they will continue this concept after this tour, we envision PLM crew sets at festivals next summer, one can only hope!

The stop was a part of the Keepin’ It Crew Tour which features the four Pretty Lights Music artists performing on stage together. Michal Menert, Eliot Lipp, SuperVision, and Paul Basic kick off the Pretty Lights Music Keepin’ It Crew Tour tonight in Lawrence, Kansas. This will be the first show ever where the four producers will be together on stage at once in this fashion. In celebration of this tour Positive Vibe Tribe has created a mix featuring songs that the PLM artists helped each other produce as well as several of our favorite solo tracks.
Michal Menert and Eliot Lipp have released the second of two tracks from the Victory 7″ single. “Jacques Nouveau” is a mellow, sultry jazz influenced track that takes the artists outside the boundaries of their more traditional electro-soul sound. Michal Menert and Eliot Lipp along with fellow Pretty Lights Music artists Paul Basic and SuperVision will be touring together starting next week on the Pretty Lights Music Keepin’ It Crew Tour. They will be performing in a unique setting that will feature all four artists on stage collaborating at once. A similar setup was unveiled this past spring at Snowball music festival for the PLM Party. This tour will only be the second time that they have performed in a group style setting. There will undoubtedly be lots of collaborations such as these two tracks by Menert and Lipp. “Jacques Nouveau” and the title track “Victory” are both available as free downloads. The Brooklyn based duo Break Science has enlisted the help of fellow Pretty Lights Music label-mate SuperVision to craft a remix for the track “Brain Reaction”. Last Fall, Break Science dropped the album Seven Bridges which included the track “Brain Reaction” featuring Redman and Lettuce.
