[LINEUP] Shambhala Music Festival Announces 2015 Headliners

Shambhala Music Festival has announced an impressive list of “headliners” for 2015. The 18th annual Shambhala will feature performances from Pretty Lights, Skrillex, Tipper (2 sets), GRiZ, Big Gigantic, Excision, Datsik, Kygo, Bonobo, Mix Master Mike, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Birds of Paradise, Manic Focus, and many more. The festival is located at Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia and will take place August 7th – 10th. Shambhala has a unique method of booking artists as each individual stage is curated by a different person. This allows for each stage to have a specific theme artistically and musically. Bassnectar – “Now” ft. Rye Rye – (Free Download) – New Album June 24th

Bassnectar has released the debut single off his upcoming album #NVSB. “Now” is a “summertime banger” featuring lyrics from guest rapper Rye Rye. The track has a trap feel with 808 drums and booming bass.  Lorin Ashton, the man behind the bass, also announced that #NVSB will be released on June 24th. The album will comprise of fifteen songs, “each representing a distinct point of a very unique spectrum.” Bassnectar has invited has fans to guess the meaning of #NVSB, with Noise vs. Beauty circulating among fans as the true meaning. If that were the case “Now” definitely represents the Noise end of the sonic plane. I am eager to discover the rest of the album later this Summer. As any Basshead will tell you, listening to Bassnectar at home pales in comparison to the experience of a live performance. This Summer is an excellent opportunity to see Bassnectar as he has a packed tour schedule. He will performing at a multitude of music festivals including; Summer Camp, Electric Daisy Carnival: New York, Wakarusa, Paradiso, The Hudson Project, Tommorowland, Shambhala, Summer Set, North Coast, and TommorowWorld. In addition he will perform four consecutive nights in Colorado at the end of May including two nights at the Belly Up in Aspen and two nights at Red Rocks with special guests Sub Focus, Kill Paris, Crookers, and Break Science.
