Last weekend, Gramatik premiered the first single off his upcoming Epigram EP during his performance at Coachella. “Native Son” is a smooth track written by Orlando Napier that features a verse by Raekwon. The Wu-Tang Clan member was a big influence on Gramatik as a teenager and to have the legendary rapper featured on his track is a huge honor. The track is one part of a two part song that “talks about a kid that grew up hard on the streets of NYC, each song addressing a different period in his life”.
